Blessed Christmas!

“Glory to God in the highest…” (Luke 2:14)

“An angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them [the shepherds]…” (Luke 2:9)

With Jesus arrival came the GLORY OF GOD to reside on earth – Emmanuel, God with us (Matthew 1:23).

This Christmas season, the Lord has been reminding me why He came – our ONENESS with God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!

He came to indwell us!

“You, Father, are in Me [Jesus], and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23

The shepherds experienced the glory of God shining all around them. Imagine containing all God’s glory in one human body. In YOU! Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection has made it so. His glory has become personal and intimate for each of us who are in Christ. We have the glory of God reigning INSIDE us!

It is the translation of the human soul from darkness to light. Jesus became fully human to make a way for us to enter INTO JESUS as humans and experience the ONENESS with which He created humankind in the garden. ONENESS is the blending of divine glory with regenerated humanity. His glory (presence) reigns brightly within us.

With these thoughts, the Lord downloaded a poem to my heart to share with you this Christmas season. I have put it in the form of a Christmas song.

About the photo

December 10, 2025, this happened outside our door! What made it especially spectacular is the fact that the entire Pacific Northwest was under heavy clouds and experiencing excessive rainfall with high, damaging winds. Just before sunset, the clouds were pulled back like a curtain, the stars appeared, and a great calm settled over Banks Lake near Electric City, Washington, creating a glassy surface on the water. Aurora Borealis came on stage dancing in the night sky behind the Big Dipper. It was nothing less than a grand show of God’s glory in His creation! The glory of the Lord shone round about as I witnessed in awe His mighty works! The photo is an inferior picture of the wondrous reality of the glory of God that reigns within me – the very presence of Jesus.

In Jesus, you are more than you may believe about yourself today. You are ONE. His GLORY reigns inside of you! Shine this Christmas!
