INTIMACY IN THE ORDINARY
Seen and known.
It’s no secret that my photography is deeply rooted in a relationship with my Creator. It’s something we share—He not only teaches me the craft of photography, but also speaks to me through it about life, relationships, and His incredible character.
As we continued driving, I said aloud, “Wouldn’t it be amazing to see a deer standing in the middle of a wheat field, bathed in sunset light?”
Not five minutes later—there she was.
There’s no doubt in my mind that both the timing and the scene were orchestrated by my Creator. Roxanne and I smiled at each other, fully present in that quiet moment of beauty—just the two of us, the deer, and the One who made it all.
But I want to be clear: the Creator is not a genie in a bottle or a cosmic Santa Claus. He gave His life on the cross to restore a relationship between us and the Father—a relationship broken by sin and healed by grace.
Photographing that deer wasn’t a “wish come true.” It was a tender expression of a Heavenly Father who delights in walking closely with His children—who takes interest in the little details of our lives, and speaks to us through His creation.
What if our daily lives flowed from that kind of intimacy with the Creator?
FEATURED INSPIRATIONAL PHOTO
Bathed in golden light, her head just above the wheat, the deer appeared—an answer to a simple, passing desire spoken moments earlier. More than coincidence, it was a tender moment handcrafted by the Lord—a quiet reminder of the intimacy He shares with those who walk closely with Him.

What a beautiful reminder of EL Roi, the God who sees. He delights in loving His sons and daughters in ways that personally speak,”He sees me” He is so good!
