JESUS
Do you believe in Him?
He is the pinnacle of personal passion.
He is the core of consolation.
He is the attraction of the ages.
He is the purpose of the penitent.
JESUS.
Do you believe in Him?
He is exalted by the Father,
As the doorway to deliverance.
He sinlessly sympathizes with the suffering soul,
To be the Messiah of mediation.
JESUS.
Do you believe in Him?
He is glorified by the Spirit,
Declaring secrets to the saints.
He is given a name above all names.
He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
JESUS.
Do you believe in Him?
His is the family name offered to the orphan.
He is the Benefactor to the broken.
He is the inheritance of the inferior.
He is the provider to the poor in spirit.
JESUS.
Do you believe in Him??
He is the Way to the wandering.
He is the Truth to the trespasser.
He is the Life to the listless.
JESUS.
Do you believe in Him?
Really. Do you believe in Him?
Do you cleave to, trust in, rely on, and adhere to JESUS?
Believing doesn’t end at salvation—this is its beginning.
Are you sick? JESUS.
Are you sad? JESUS.
Are you enslaved? JESUS.
Are you sullen? JESUS.
Are you scared? JESUS.
Are you stressed? JESUS.
Are you skeptical? JESUS.
Jesus is not absent because He’s gone. Unbelief hides Him. Jesus was in the boat with the disciples during the storm, but they counted Him missing from their peril because they didn’t believe (trust).
When temptation assaults you, declare your belief in Jesus.
When trials beset you, declare your belief in Jesus.
When pain and bitterness attempt to inject their poison, declare your belief in Jesus.
Are you feeling weak and frail in your faith? Reach up and take hold of Jesus’ extended hand. Jesus will take you to places of trust beyond what you can reach yourself. And the Holy Spirit inside of you empowers His desire for you.
There is an opportunity today… and tomorrow. An opportunity to exercise your BELIEF in JESUS. Will you choose to BELIEVE in JESUS?
“They then [Jesus’ disciples] said, What are we to do, that we may [habitually] be working the works of God? [What are we to do to carry out what God requires?]
“Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger].” ~ John 6:28-29 (AMPC)

“Icy Sunset”
Standing at the edge of frozen Banks Lake, I watched as the last warmth of the January sun faded into the horizon. The air was crisp, each breath a reminder of winter’s grasp. My camera rested on the tripod, capturing a series of shots as the light disappeared. Across the lake, a deep moaning echoed against the coulee rock walls—the ice shifting, adjusting itself for the night. The moment was unforgettable, as creation itself seemed to declare the faithfulness and certainty of Jesus. He whispers: do you trust Me? The question resonates in my heart, much like the shifting ice reverberating across the lake.
