MIGHTY GOD!

The rattling of relentless chains. Bound, tortured, powerless. The dank, dark prison of a defenseless soul held captive by loveless, abusive tormentors. Echoes of death resound in the stone walls of a merciless tomb. A certain helpless, hopeless future promised by the darkness. No escape. Only frail weakness and surrender.

Our forefathers betrayed their relationship with the Creator. We have inherited the curse of enmity with God. The condition of sin is upon humankind. The land lay barren, bereft of life and light. Destitute. Doomed.

But wait… All is not lost…

A LIGHT has risen in the darkness.

He shines upon all who dwell in the land of the shadow of death. LIGHT born from the womb of darkness carrying the breath of LIFE! A whirlwind of LOVE embracing humanity with divine favor.

His name is called MIGHTY GOD!

Hero! Warrior! Strong! Powerful! Valiant! Champion! Helper! Larger than Life! Fighting for His People!

The rescuing POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD is still at work in us!

His name is called MIGHTY GOD! And His MIGHT is exerted to deliver His people from the captivity of sin! For when we were without strength… Jesus died for us. (Romans 5:6-11)

Jesus is our HERO! He came to seek and save what was lost (Luke 19:9-10).

Jesus carried the Good News, wielding the POWER of GOD to salvation for everyone who believes! (Romans 1:16-17)

He rebuked the stormy wind and sea. There was a great calm. His closest followers discovered that even creation obeys the voice of Jesus as He came to their rescue.

Jesus was a hero to the man when He forgave his sin. The man sick with palsy lay helplessly on his bed. Jesus proved His power to forgive the man’s sin when He commanded him to stand up, take his bed, and walk. Forgiving his heart, Jesus healed his body.

Jesus set the captive free, delivering him from spiritual bondage and restoring his mind. Legion, a man who was made wild by upwards of 6,826 demons, was tormented and uncontrollable. Injuring himself and a threat to society, he remained isolated and confined by his enslavement. That is – until he met Jesus. Releasing the greatness of His compassion, Jesus spoke the word, and the demons vacated the man to a nearby herd of pigs. The population of ten nearby cities marveled at Jesus’ rescue.

Jesus gave the little girl life and a future. She was pronounced dead until Jesus touched her and commanded her to arise, rescuing her family from grief and raising her from death.

His name is called MIGHTY GOD! And He has brought DELIVERANCE to you! He has fought for you, suffered for you, died for you. He is a CHAMPION of LIFE and FREEDOM to all who believe.

Because of His GREAT LOVE.

Joy! Gratitude! Relief! Peace! Awe and Wonder! Healing! Hope! Empowerment! Purpose!

Do you know MIGHTY GOD?

Relationship! Intimacy! Experience!

“That I may KNOW Him (JESUS – the MIGHTY GOD) and the POWER of His resurrection…” (Philippians 3:10)

Jesus rescued us on the cross by taking our sin upon Himself! The power of God raised Him from the dead, conquering sin and death. Jesus unlocked us from death’s chains and delivered us to His Father. And the rescuing POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD is still at work in us!

“Now to Him who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” ~ Ephesians 3:20

Let MIGHTY GOD know you! Call upon Him, and He will rush in to save you (see Romans 10:13).

And He will set you free! And His freedom is genuine and eternal. Whom the Son (MIGHTY GOD) sets FREE is FREE indeed! So, stand fast in the liberty whereby He (MIGHTY GOD) has made you FREE, and do not be entangled again in a yoke of bondage! See John 8:36 and Galatians 5:1.

The Apostle Paul describes how Jesus intervened in his suffering:

“…who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He (MIGHTY GOD) will still deliver us..” ~ 2 Corinthians 1:10.

MIGHTY GOD has rescued our future!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” ~ 1 Peter 1:3-5

His name is called MIGHTY GOD!

His is a kingdom of justice and judgment on your behalf. He will establish it in you from this time forth and forever! Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end!

His jealous passion for you will perform His name in your life! MIGHTY GOD!

In Jesus = MIGHTY GOD!

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor,

MIGHTY GOD,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ~ Isaiah 9:6

“Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” ~ Isaiah 9:7
