EVERLASTING FATHER!

A street urchin. Subsisting on the trash in the foul slums of human sin. Alone. Abandoned. Forsaken. Rejected. Without identity. Seeking to belong and searching for acceptance. Without inheritance. Without heritage. Bereft of family. Unnoticed. Uncared for. Alone. Illegitimate.

Such is the fate of the soul untethered from the EVERLASTING FATHER.

Our forefathers betrayed their relationship with the Creator. We have inherited the curse of enmity with God. The condition of sin is upon humankind. The land lay barren, bereft of life and light. Claimed by the devil and doomed to his fate.

But wait… All is not lost…

A LIGHT has risen in the darkness.

He shines upon all who dwell in the land of the shadow of death. LIGHT born from the womb of darkness carrying the breath of LIFE! A whirlwind of LOVE embracing humanity with divine favor.

His name is called EVERLASTING FATHER!

A Divine Daddy. Merciful, forgiving, accepting. An adoptive parent with full legal authority and provision to claim His child. He is a Perpetual Papa without beginning or ending. Eternally devoted and enduringly faithful.

The good pleasure of God’s will is to be your EVERLASTING FATHER!

“He who has seen Me [Jesus] has seen the Father… Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me…” (See John 14:10-11)

“I [Jesus] and My Father are one.” ~ John 10:30

His name is called EVERLASTING FATHER! And He will NEVER, EVER abandon you! (see Hebrews 13:5, John 14:15-18)

He is an ever-nurturing Abba who never gives up on completing His good work in you. (see Philippians 1:6)

Understanding and gentle in His correction, He transforms you into a child, bearing His family resemblance. (see Hebrews 12:7-11, and Psalm 103:8-14, Isaiah 64:7)

Jesus has gifted you with everything desirable and beneficial. The gifts come to you out of heaven from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful, two-faced, or fickle about your EVERLASTING FATHER. He has brought you to life in Jesus… (see James 1:17-18)

The EVERLASTING FATHER dispels your fear and establishes your place in His kingdom. Your condition of righteousness and position as a family member is secure.

“Do not be afraid little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” ~ Luke 12:32

“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty (MIGHTY GOD).” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:18

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” ~ Romans 8:14-17

In your afflictions, anguish, burdens, troubles, and persecutions, your EVERLASTING FATHER is He who COMFORTS you. (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-7)

His name is called ETERNAL FATHER! And He has made you HIS CHILD! He has sought you, accepted you, adopted you, and will remain with you FOREVER.

Because of His GREAT LOVE.

He is an ETERNAL FATHER who has invited you to ask, seek, and knock. He is a GOOD FATHER, and from Him come GOOD things! Holy Spirit things. Things of substance and power to walk as His precious child. (see Matthew 7:7-11)

Acceptance! Belonging! Heritage! Inheritance! Promises! Hope! Provision! Protection! Security!

Do you know EVERLASTING FATHER?

Relationship! Intimacy! Experience!

Have you invited EVERLASTING FATHER to know you?

Earthly father experiences can make us uncertain about accepting the love of a divine Father. But EVERLASTING FATHER is flawless. He shatters the false perceptions of fatherhood and demonstrates unconditional commitment, faithfulness, and love to the child who trusts Him.

THE GOOD PLEASURE OF GOD’S WILL IS TO BE YOUR EVERLASTING FATHER! Jesus wants you to be His child. Jesus wants you to KNOW that you are! And Jesus wants you to dance freely, unincumbered, in His house! He expects you to pull up your chair at His table and live out WHO you truly are – His child!

Your EVERLASTING FATHER:

But when you were still a great way off (estranged in sin), your EVERLASTING FATHER saw you and had compassion, and ran and fell on your neck and kissed you…

The father said to his servants [the angels], “Bring out the best robe (clothed in Jesus) and put it on my child, and put a ring on their hand (reinstatement of family identity) and sandals (good news of peace) on their feet. And bring the fatted calf (the very best) here and kill it (sacrifice it), and let us eat and be merry (celebration of grace); for this my child was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.”

His name is called EVERLASTING FATHER!

His is a kingdom of justice and judgment on your behalf. He will establish it in you from this time forth and forever! Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end!

His jealous passion for you will perform His name in your life! EVERLASTING FATHER!
